A capillary tube for taking capillary blood samples for a system for measuring the coagulation time. In order to reduce the risk of infection for the laboratory staff and to simplify the work of taking and processing the capillary blood samples, the capillary tube is made of plastic and a lyophilizate (14, 15, 16) is approximately uniformly distributed in its interior and along its entire length, the lyophilizate being obtained by freeze-drying a mixture containing an anti-coagulant and at least one high-molecular additive.
