ABSTRACT: Capless electric incandescent lamps have an envelope having a flat pinch. The current con- ductors emanating from the pinch are bent backwards along one major face of the pinch and are situated in a respective groove in said face. The other opposing major face of the pinch is provided with a groove, whereas its edges extending between the end of the pinch and the envelope are bevelled. - 14 -
