ABSTRACT A capsule for use in anchoring contains as dry ingredients a so-called high alumina cement, a set retarding agent and at least one water-soluble lithium salt. The capsule has a perforated wall and in use is wetted in water to form a self-setting anchoring composition which has a controlled initial setting time followed by an acceptable final setting time after a short interval.
