ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a rotatable one-piece plastic fixing member intended for use with a support panel which includes two flat surfaces facing in opposite directions and a non- circular aperture through the panel. The fixing member comprises two supporting portions coupled to each other by a rigid rod and spaced apart by a distance equal to the thick- ness of the support panel with the rigid rod having a lateral extent less than the minimum diametrical distance of the aperture. The first supporting portion which forms one end portion of the rod engages against the first surface of the support panel and has, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fixing member, a noncircular contour complementary to that of the noncircular aperture of the panel. The non- circular contour includes at least two axes of symmetry, and the second supporting portion which forms the other end portion of the rod engages the second surface of the support panel. The fixing member further has at least two resiliently mounted locking bosses extending between the two supporting portions and fixedly attached to at least one of the two supporting portions, the bosses being spaced apart a distance, and having external contours to fit complementarily into two diametrically opposite parts of the internal surface of the aper- ture. The bosses have a plane of symmetry passing through the axis of the fixing member, and that plane of symmetry forms with the plane of an axis of symmetry of the first supporting portion an angle equal to a fraction of a turn of predetermined value.
