The car-directing apparatus is fixedly arranged in a part of a prede- termined area protected by the alarm system and has a display unit capable of indicating the site of the emergency or abnormality and/or a signal emitter for emitting a car-directing signal toward the dispatch car when the car approaches the site of the emergency or abnormality. The car-directing apparatus also has a built-in electric power unit including a chargeable battery.
