- 1 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A car muffler having a drain device includes a muffler body separated into first, second and third compartments, with interconnecting water flow holes at the bases thereof, an inlet pipe communicating with the second compartment, two intermediary pipes for conveying exhaust gas between the second and third compartments, and between the third and fourth compartments, an outlet pipe communicating with the first compartment which is disposed at the front side of the muffler, and a water drain path having an inlet port open to the bottom of the first compartment and an outlet port open to the surrounding portion of the outlet pipe.
