9 Abstract The car seat heating device, which in particular can be fitted subsequently, comprises a thin, electrically insulating, three-dimensionally resilient carrier material (4) permeable to air and humidity. To the carrier material there is applied a resilient surface heating element (2) with a latticed structure comprising free spaces (5). The surface heating element (2) has a parallel conductor form, and three-dimensional deformability. To the surface heating element (2) is applied an adhesive film (3) permeable to air and humidity, which bonds the surface heating element to the carrier material (4) through the free spaces (5) in the latticed structure. To the adhesive film (3) there is applied a protective foil (1), which is separable therefrom. The adhesive strength of the adhesive film (3) is suitable for adhesion to the back of a car seat cover.
