A portable alarm device (100) for guarding a car (200) or another mobile object having a lockable compartment against theft or burglary, comprising: a housing (1) having at least one opening (2) and a microphone (4) therein for detecting infrasound; electrical circuitry (5) within housing (1) for processing signals and for transmitting an alarm signal on the detection of a forced entry; and a built-in power supply (7), i.e. batteries. The housing (1) is provided with steering features (2,9,11) for ensuring the existence of an unobstructed air path to opening(s) (2) regardless of the orientation and position assumed by the alarm device (100) being put rapidly into the coupe of the car by a staff member. The steering features may be legs (9) proximate to opening (2), a grating (10) surrounding opening (2), or alternatively surrounding the entire housing (1), or may be comprised of a number of openings in housing (1), spaced around the housing.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'alarme portable (100) pour protéger une voiture (200) ou un autre objet mobile ayant un compartiment verrouillable contre le vol ou le cambriolage, comprenant : un boîtier (1) ayant au moins une ouverture (2) et un microphone (4) à l'intérieur pour détecter des infrasons; des circuits électriques (5) à l'intérieur du boîtier (1) pour traiter les signaux et transmettre un signal d'alarme lorsqu'une entrée forcée est détectée; et une alimentation en puissance intégrée (7), par exemple des piles. Le boîtier (1) est pourvu de caractéristiques de direction (2, 9, 11) pour garantir l'existence d'une voie d'air non obstruée vers la ou les ouvertures (2) indépendamment de l'orientation et de la position présumées du dispositif d'alarme (100) placé rapidement dans la voiture par un membre du personnel. Les caractéristiques de direction peuvent être des pattes (9) situées à proximité de l'ouverture (2), une grille (10) entourant l'ouverture (2) ou en variante entourant l'ensemble du boîtier (1) ou peuvent comprendre un certain nombre d'ouvertures dans le boîtier (1), espacées autour du boîtier.
