ABSTRACT A device for washing the underside of a car or the like which has a fluid distributing passage network which includes passages which are laterally spaced a substantial distance from one another and fluid discharge orifices opening from said passages to provide a predetermined spray pattern, the improvement wherein said fluid distributing passage network is formed in a generally planar mat which includes web portions which extend laterally between the laterally spaced passages along the length thereof to retain the passages in their spaced relationship and prevent distortion of the passage network under the influence of the fluid pressure in use so as to maintain said predetermined discharge spray pattern in use.
