Carbamate-functional allyl monomers and methods for making them are disclosed. The monomers, which are easy to prepare, readily polymerize with common ethylenic monomers to give low-molecular-weight resins without the need for solvents or chain-transfer agents. Coatings made from the resins should have good durability, good acid etch resistance, good mar resistance, high gloss, and high DOI.
L'invention concerne des monomères d'allyle à fonctionnalité carbamate ainsi que des procédés de préparation associés. Ces monomères sont faciles à préparer, il se polymérisent rapidement avec des monomères éthyléniques usuels pour donner des résines à bas poids moléculaire, sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'utiliser des solvants ou des agents de transfert de chaîne. Des revêtements réalisés à partir de ces résines doivent avoir une bonne durabilité, une bonne résistance à l'attache chimique par les acides, une bonne résistance à l'endommagement, un brillant et un DOI élevés.
