Abstract of the Disclosure New carbamates of the formula Image (I) are disclosed, wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a haloethyl group or an alkenyl group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, each of R2 and R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl or ethyl group, R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group or R3 and R4, if n is O, together represent the radical -CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-, and n is O, 1 or 2. These compounds are useful as pesticides, especially for the control of insects and pest of the order Acarina; they are also useful for regulating plant growth.
