An assembly is disclosed including a holder block, a cutting pick, and an optional hollow sleeve, wherein the shank of the cutting pick is inserted into the holder block or, where present, into the hollow sleeve. When assembled, surfaces of the components meet at an interface. At least one of the first interface and the second interface includes one or more sets of wear elements including cemented carbide bodies press fit into recesses in the forwardly oriented surfaces meeting at the interfaces. The wear elements mitigate direct contact between the opposing surfaces of the components at the interfaces and prevents excessive wear from repetitive impact because the harder wear elements, e.g., cemented carbide, are contact points between the opposing surfaces of the components at the interfaces. A machine incorporating the assembly and a method of manufacturing the assembly are also disclosed, particularly a machine for mining, excavating, tunneling, road planing and/or construction.

Cette invention concerne un ensemble comprenant un bloc de support, un pic dincision et un manchon creux optionnel. La tige dudit pic dincision est insérée dans le bloc de support ou dans le manchon creux quand celui-ci existe. Au moins lune des deux interfaces comprend un ou plusieurs jeux déléments dusure comprenant des corps en carbure métallique ajustés par pression dans des creux situés dans les surfaces orientées vers lavant qui se rencontrent aux interfaces. Les éléments dusure limitent le contact direct entre les surfaces opposées des composants aux interfaces, et ils empêchent lusure excessive due aux impacts répétitifs, parce que les éléments dusure les plus durs, par exemple en carbure métallique, sont des points de contact entre les surfaces opposées des composants aux interfaces. Cette invention concerne aussi une machine intégrant lensemble, en particulier une machine dexploitation minière, dexcavation, de creusage de galeries, de nivellement des chaussées et/ou de construction, ainsi quun procédé de fabrication dudit ensemble.
