"CARBON BLACK REACTOR WITH AN ELONGATED CHOKE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CARBON BLACK THEREWITH" Abstract of the Disclosure A carbon black reactor having an elongated choke reduces the presence of impingement coke and refractory grit in the carbon black product, provides for the production of super fine particle carbon black, narrow particle size distribution carbon black, and high surface activity carbon black. The elongated choke has a length sufficient for substantial completion of the carbon black forming reaction within the choke.
