CARBON DIOXIDE DRYING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The process of this invention relates to drying pressurized carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide which is obtained from the hydrolysis under carbon dioxide pressure of ethylene or propylene carbonate is wet with water and thus wet carbon dioxide is dried by intimately contacting it under pressure with feed liquid ethylene or propylene carbonate employed for such hydrolysis reaction, and re- moving from such contact said carbon dioxide, under pressure, which is substantially free of its water.
