The present invention relates to novel carboxamide compounds of the formula (I) and their use for the manufacture of a medicament. The carboxamide compounds are prodrugs of inhibitors of calpain (calcium dependant cysteine proteases). The invention therefore also relates to the use of these carboxamide compounds for treating a disorder associated with an elevated calpain activity and the rest of the variables is as defined in the claims.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux composés de carboxamide de formule (I) et leur utilisation dans la fabrication d'un médicament. Les composés de carboxamide sont des promédicaments d'inhibiteurs de la calpaïne (cystéine protéases dépendant du calcium). Ainsi, l'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces composés de carboxamide dans le traitement d'un trouble associé avec une activité élevée de la calpaïne et le reste des variables est tel que défini dans les revendications.
