A polyester powder coating composition formed by reacting: a) a polyester resin formed by reacting one or more aliphatic glycols and one or more polycarboxylic acids and/or anhydrides, wherein the aliphatic glycol is comprised of 5 to 90% 1,3-propanediol on a molar basis, in the presence of an esterification catalyst and then endcapping the polyester with an endcapping agent to ensure that the polyester has carboxyl chain ends; and b) an epoxy resin crosslinking agent.
L'invention concerne une composition de revêtement de poudre de polyester formée en faisant réagir : a) une résine de polyester obtenue par réaction d'un ou de plusieurs glycol(s) aliphatique(s) et d'un ou plusieurs acide(s) polycarboxylique(s) et/ou d'anhydride(s), où le glycol aliphatique comprend entre 5 et 90 % de propanediol-1,3 sur une base molaire, en présence d'un catalyseur d'estérification, puis en coiffant l'extrémité du polyester au moyen d'un agent de coiffage d'extrémité, afin de garantir que le polyester possède effectivement des bouts de chaîne carboxyle; b) et un agent de réticulation de résine d'époxy.
