ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A carburetor and fuel feed device for small internal combustion engines incorporating a pumping section which re- ceives fuel from a supply and delivers the required amounts for the range of operation between high and low speed operation with any excess being returned to the source of supply. A control device is employed which permits deceleration from high to low speed operation without flooding by instantaneously preventing the supply of fuel for high speed operation in re- sponse to movement of the the throttle valve to an idle or low speed position.
