RADIAL CARBURETOR ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Disclosed herein is a carburetor for an internal combustion engine embodying a novel air control valve in which the air is admitted from a plurality of radially disposed apertures. Air flow is controlled by a like plurality of movable shutters attached to a movable cage assembly circumscribing the carburetor housing. The carburetor also embodies vacuum valves which generate vacuum signals for the engine's spark advance and exhaust gas recirculating mechanisms as a function of the engine's manifold vacuum and the position of the cage assembly. In the preferred embodiment, the cage assembly is a rotary cage. -1-
