In order to ensure correction for altitude for the carburettor used on an internal combustion engine, a control system for the pressure within the fuel bowl (8) is incorporated. This control system consists of a pressure splitter (11) that is connected, on the one hand, with the lower pressure of the venturi throat (4) in the area in which the fuel delivery line (7) opens out and, on the other hand, with the induction pressure in the area of the inlet end (10) of the air flow passage (4), said pressure splitter incorporating a pressure line (12) with two chokes (13, 14) that are connected in series, between which the fuel bowl (8) is connected to the pressure line (12). One or both of the two chokes (13, 14) can be controlled as a function of specific air density.

Afin d'assurer la correction en altitude d'un carburateur utilisé dans un moteur à combustion interne, on a intégré un système de commande de régulation de pression dans la cuve du carburateur (8). Ce système de commande comprend un répartiteur de pression (11) qui est relié d'une part à la partie basse pression du col de venturi (4), dans la zone d'arrivée de la ligne de carburant (7) et, d'autre part, à la partie pression d'induction dans la zone d'extrémité d'entrée (10) du passage de l'air (4); ledit répartiteur de pression comprenant une conduite de refoulement (12) avec deux étrangleurs (13, 14) reliés en série et entre lesquels la cuve du carburateur (8) est reliée à la conduite de refoulement. Un des étrangleurs, ou les deux (13, 14), peut être commandé en fonction de la densité spécifique de l'air.
