An electrical connector (10) for connecting a cable (30) to a card edge interface (24) has a housing portion (16). The housing portion (16) has a first surface, and a second surface opposite said first surface, and the surfaces are spaced apart to define a housing portion slot for the card edge interface (24). Furcated contact elements (14) are disposed within the housing (16). Each contact element (14) has a first tine portion (18) with an exposed contact interface portion, a second tine portion (20); a web portion (22) connecting the first and second tine portions (18, 20), and a wire termination portion (28) for terminating a conductor of the cable (30). The first and second tine portions (18, 20) are arranged within the housing portion (16) with the contact interface exposed for mating with a respective contact surface of the card edge interface (24).
L'invention concerne un connecteur électrique (10) pour connecter un câble (30) à une interface de bord de carte (24) ayant une partie de logement (16). La partie de boîtier (16) a une première surface, et une seconde surface opposée à la première surface, et les surfaces sont espacées pour définir une fente de partie de logement pour l'interface de bord de carte (24).
