- 19 - CARD HOLDING CLIP ASSEMBLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Cards holding drugs or the like are detachably suspended from a substantially planar clip plate which in turn may be hung from supports such as binder rings, hooks, etc. A pair of horizontal bars extend from the front of the clip plate one upon each side of the centre thereof and a resilient tab is formed on the front having a projection on the rear surface towards the distal end thereof. A card is engaged under the tab and the projection engages an aper- ture in the card thus supporting the card. The upper edge of the card engages under the bars which not only locate the card vertically so that the card can be slid sideways to engage the projection with the aperture, but also stops the card from swinging on the projection of the tab. The card may have a plurality of apertures any one of which may be used to suspend the card from the tab for indexing pur- poses. The bars are particularly useful for stabilizing the card when engaged upon the projection of the tab at a point offset from the vertical axis of the card.
