A card true/false decision apparatus for deciding whether a card (1) having a predetermined hologram in accordance with the type of the card 1 (1) is true or false according to the hologram. The card true/false decision apparatus comprises a measuring light projection system (semiconductor laser 25a, collimator lens 25b) for projecting measuring light to the hologram, an area sensor (28) for receiving reflected/diffracted light reflected by the hologram of the measuring beam P, a plurality of decision calculation means (30 to 32) for performing calculations corresponding to various holograms in accordance with a signal from the area sensor (28) so as to decide whether the card (1) is true or false, and selection means (selector switch 24, switch circuit 29) for selecting one of the plurality of decision calculation means (30 to 32).
L'invention porte sur un appareil détectant si une carte (1) est vraie ou fausse comportant un hologramme prédéterminé correspondant à une carte vraie ou fausse. L'appareil comprend un système de projection de la lumière de mesure (laser à semi-conducteur 25a ou lentille collimatrice 25b) projetant ladite lumière sur l'hologramme, un détecteur surfacique (28) recevant la lumière réfléchie/diffractée renvoyée par l'hologramme du faisceau de mesure, plusieurs moyens de calcul de décision (30 à 32) pour effectuer des calculs correspondant aux divers hologrammes sur la base du signal fourni par le détecteur surfacique (28) pour décider si la carte (1) est vraie ou fausse, et des moyens de sélection (commutateur de sélection 24, circuit de commutation 29) sélectionnant l'un des différents moyens de calcul de décision (30 à 32).
