The apparatus includes and elongate body (36) having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The body includes a cavity sized to contain a cardiac harness (42) in a compacted configuration and also includes a plurality of elongate push rods (40) movable with respect to the body. The cardiac harness is releasably connected to each of the push rods such that advancement of the push rods in a distal direction moves the harness from a compacted configuration, within the cavity, to an expanded configuration, outside the cavity. The apparatus also includes a releasing member (38) for releasing the connections between the push rods and the harness upon actuation of the releasing member by a user.
La présente invention a trait à un appareil comportant un corps de forme allongée comportant une portion proximale et une portion distale. Le corps comprend une cavité dimensionnée pour pouvoir contenir un harnais de sécurité cardiaque dans une configuration compacte et comprenant également une pluralité de poussoirs mobiles par rapport au corps. Le harnais de sécurité cardiaque est relié de manière amovible à chacun des poussoirs de sorte que l'avancement des poussoirs dans une direction distale déplace le harnais d'une configuration rétractée, au sein de la cavité, vers une position déployée, hors de la cavité. L'appareil comprend également un organe de débrayage pour le désengagement des liaisons entre les poussoirs et le harnais lors de l'actionnement de l'organe de débrayage par un utilisateur.
