A cargo net assembly which may be installed and removed from between a pair of seats within an automotive vehicle. The net assembly includes a substantially rectangular interwoven mesh net. A retainer (26) is mounted to each corner of the net (22) for supporting the net (22) within the vehicle. A mounting frame (20) is secured to an interior of the vehicle and includes an aperture (48) with an insertion section and a restraint section for receiving the retainer (26). The net assembly is characterized by a pair of locking tabs disposed on the mounting frame for retaining the retainer in the restraint section. The retainer also includes a clamping portion for anchoring the retainer to the corners of the net and a fastening portion extending from the clamping portion for mounting the retainer to the vehicle. The clamping portion includes two interconnected sections with the corner of the net sandwiched between the sections. The net assembly is further characterized by the sections having an integral grasp for engaging the side of the net and fixedly securing the corner of the net between the sections.
L'invention concerne un ensemble filet à marchandises pouvant être installé et enlevé de l'espace entre deux sièges d'un véhicule automobile. L'ensemble filet comprend un filet (22) essentiellement rectangulaire à mailles entrelacées. Un élément de retenue (26) est attaché à chaque coin du filet (22) pour supporter le filet (22) à l'intérieur du véhicule. Une plaque d'attache (20) est fixée à l'intérieur du véhicule et comprend une ouverture (48) avec une partie d'introduction et une partie de retenue pour recevoir l'élément de retenue (26). L'ensemble filet est caractérisé par une paire de languettes de blocage disposées sur la plaque d'attache pour le maintien de l'élément de retenue dans la partie de retenue. L'élément de retenue comprend aussi une partie de blocage pour ancrer l'élément de retenue au coin du filet et une partie de fixation s'étendant depuis la partie de blocage pour attacher l'élément de retenue au véhicule. La partie de blocage inclut deux parties liées entre elles et le coin du filet est pris en sandwich entre ces deux parties. L'ensemble filet est aussi caractérisé par le fait que ces parties sont dotées d'évidements de blocage intégrés destinés à recevoir le côté du filet et retenir le coin du filet entre ces parties.
