The invention relates to a carousel for people, especially chil- dren, with a substructure that is sta- tionary relative to the ground and that has a stator axle essentially perpendicular to the ground and a radial support disk essentially par- allel to the ground, and with a rotor which revolves about the stator axle and has a turning socdon for carry- ing people. To creato a carousel of this type that is easy to operate and versadle and that affords adequate safety even when used improperly, the invention proposes that the ra- dial support disk be mounted on a profiled base plate, in recesses that essendally conform to the shape of tbe radial support disk, and that the radial support disk or base plate have a central centering shoulder aligned to engage in a central seat in its matching pan.

L'invention concerne un manège destiné à des personnes, notamment à des enfants, qui comprend une base fixe par rapport au sol, comportant un axe statorique sensiblement perpendiculaire par rapport au sol et un support en étoile sensiblement parallèle au sol, ainsi qu'un rotor qui tourne autour de l'axe statorique et comporte une partie rotative entraînant les personnes. Afin de réaliser un manège de ce type facile à manier et offrant de nombreuses possibilités d'application, tout en garantissant une sécurité suffisante, qu'il soit utilisé convenablement ou non, il est prévu que le support en étoile soit monté dans les cavités correspondant sensiblement à sa forme, pratiquées dans une plaque de base profilée et que ledit support en étoile ou sa plaque de base comporte une partie saillante médiane de centrage, alignée de manière à s'engager dans une cavité centrale pratiquée dans la partie lui correspondant.
