ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A clip for use in hanging room size carpets for display purposes. The clip comprises two members pivotally connected at their upper ends which are urged together by a lever. The lever is pivotally connected to one of the members of the clip and is adapted to urge the other member toward a closed position as it moves from an upper open position to a lower position wherein it urges the two members together so as to grasp a carpet there- between.
