A spring clip for suspending carpets or the like on display racks. The clip comprises two members secured together by a pin which also carries a coil spring for urging jaws of the clip together. A pair of pads having projections thereon are adapted to be inserted between the jaws to grip more delicate carpets with a minimum of damage.
