6133 CARPET FACE FIBER WASHER WITH AIR JET Abstract of the Disclosure A method for the liquid treatment of one side of a fabric, preferably a carpet, having a front surface to be liquid treated and a back surface which is not to be wetted by the liquid. The front surface of the fabric is sprayed with liquid without wetting the back surface of the fabric. An air knife and vacuum extraction are used to remove the bulk of. the liquid from the fabric, thus reducing the extent of oven drying needed to dry the fabric.
