- 25 - ABSTRACT A motor driven carriage or trolley (11), particularly a motorised golf trolley, in which the motor (38) is outside the projected area of the driven wheel (60), and in which the drive is by way of two positive drive belts (58a,58b) located to one side of the driven wheel. The driven wheel can be part of a chassis member (30) suited for retro-fitting or removable fitting to a carriage or trolley (10), to permit the provision of motive power to that carriage or trolley.
