The present invention provides a process for providing on the surface of a substrate an adherent phosphorous acid-based coating layer, the method comprising contacting said surface with a carrier conveying a coating composition comprising an acid selected from the group consisting of phosphoroic acids, organo-phosphoric acids, phosphonic acids, and mixtures thereof, at a sufficient temperature and for a sufficient time to bond at least a portion of the acid in the composition to the oxide surface.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'application, sur la surface d'un substrat, d'une couche de revêtement adhésive à base d'acide phosphoreux, le procédé consistant à mettre ladite surface en contact avec un support portant une composition de revêtement contenant un acide choisi dans le groupe constitué d'acides phosphoriques, d'acides organo-phosphoriques, d'acides phosphoniques et de mélanges de ceux-ci, à une température suffisante et pendant une durée suffisante pour lier au moins une partie de l'acide dans la composition de la surface d'oxyde.
