ABSTRACT A carrier for one or several reaction zones that are made in this carrier in the form of channels, each of which is coated with a colour indicator, is to be improved in such a way that an individually variable coating of the reaction zones with the indicators, which under some circumstances can be different, can be effected very simply so as to provide an even coating thickness. This is effected by using a carrier that is configured as a sandwich-type compound foil that has an associated reagent carrier foil (12) that consists of a special plastic material, namely of perfluorethylenepropylene (FEP) that has been surface treated by means of a corona discharge (FEPc). A particularly favourable configuration for the reaction zones on the reaction carrier foil (12) is such that the reactants are applied to the reagent carrier foil (12) in the form of a point matrix (13) that is applied by a droplet generator (20).
