ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The method involves contacting a carrier comprising two phases, i.e. (a) a continuous phase consisting of a binder and (b) a discontinuous phase consisting of a multitude of separate, hard and indifferent particles, with an enzyme. The carrier is hard, can be produced on industrial scale and by means of a simple chemical treatment, and is cheap.
