ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trailer for transporting vehicles includes sim- plified means for raising and lowering the sections of the upper deck of the trailer. The trailer further includes lift means for adjusting the height of the forwardmost lower deck section with relation to the inter- mediate lower deck section. The present trailer complies with all sixty-foot or shorter legal limits, all state and federal regulations and can be employed for transporting both commercial and domestic vehicles, including pick-up trucks, vans, standard size automobiles, compacts, sub-compacts and foreign imports. By the practice of the present invention it is possible to directly load two vans over three full size sedans which provides a major advance in the art.
