ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a quickly and easily operated CF (carrier-frequency) sound transmission system for transmitting in the primary group position in a CF system, in which the quality of the sound is adequate, which is in- sensitive to interference, and which does not interfere with the CF com- munications-transmission system itself. The band width of each audio chan- nel is about 7 kHz. A pilot is added in each audio channel in the low- frequency position above its audio-frequency band Each audio channel is converted into the CF position by means of similar quadrature modulators. The carrier frequencies for the conversion are selected in such a manner that, in each transmitting position, all of the signals in an audio channel, which are to be transmitted, are at a distance of more than 1 kHz from the given frequency-band limits of the CF communications system.
