An adjuvant product for enhancing the activity of a molecule on delivery to a host, characterised in that it includes at least a portion of Klebsiella pneumoniae protein P40 or a protein at least 80 % homologous thereto. Nucleotide sequences coding for such peptides or proteins, and the use of said sequences as a drug, are also disclosed. Such DNA sequences may particularly be used in intramuscular or intradermal immunisation compositions.
L'invention concerne un produit adjuvant destiné à améliorer l'activité d'une molécule lors de l'administration à un hôte, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins une partie de la protéine P40 de Klebsiella pneumoniae ou une protéine présentant au moins 80 % d'homologie avec la protéine P40 de Klebsiella pneumoniae. L'invention a également pour objet les séquences nucléotidiques codant pour ces peptides ou protéines et l'utilisation de ces séquences à titre de médicament. Plus particulièrement, de telles séquences d'ADN peuvent être utilisées dans des compositions destinées à l'immunisation par voie intramusculaire ou intradermale.
