ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A carrier rail is designed so that headed slender parts are carried in their hanging state with their slender portions received in a clearance defined between a pair of parallel slide surfaces and with their head portions supported on the slide surfaces. The carrier rail comprises a flat surface disposed at the initial end of the carrier rail and flush with the slide surfaces, and holding walls disposed on the opposite sides of the flat portion and opposed to each other to define a clearance therebetween to allow passage of the head portions therethrough, the arrangement being such that headed slender parts move in their horizontal state on the flat portion.
