An oral carrier strip for the delivery of an oral care composition to the oral cavity of a human or animal subject is provided. The strip includes a first portion adapted to contact a front facing side of a plurality of teeth. A second portion is provided to be folded around the teeth so as to contact a back facing side of the teeth. The first portion has a first perimeter patterned to substantially match a shape of an outer gingival tissue, and the second portion has a second perimeter opposite the first perimeter and patterned to match a shape of an inner gingival tissue. The second perimeter defines an aperture disposed in the second portion having a rounded notch positioned in a center portion of the strip, configured to prevent the strip from tearing when folded around the teeth.
La présente invention concerne une bandelette support buccale destinée à la délivrance d'une composition de soin buccale à la cavité buccale d'un sujet humain ou animal. La bandelette inclut une première partie conçue pour entrer en contact avec le côté faisant face vers l'avant d'une pluralité de dents. La bandelette inclut une seconde partie destinée à être repliée autour des dents de manière à entrer en contact avec le côté des dents qui fait face vers l'arrière. La première partie comporte un premier périmètre modelé de manière à correspondre sensiblement au tissu gingival externe et la seconde partie comporte un second périmètre opposé au premier périmètre et modelé de manière à correspondre à la forme du tissu gingival interne. Le second périmètre définit une ouverture disposée dans la seconde partie et comportant une encoche arrondie positionnée dans la partie centrale de la bandelette, configurée de manière à éviter que la bandelette ne se déchire lorsqu'elle est repliée autour des dents.
