An apparatus for manufacturing plastic items provided with external undercuts, comprising at least one compression molding unit (S), which is composed of an upper male mold part (1) comprising a plug (15) and of a lower female mold part (2) aligned, along a vertical axis, with the male mold part (1), mans for actuating the mold parts (1, 2) between a spaced position, at which a dose of plastics sufficient to form an item is deposited in the female mold part (2), and a mating position for producing the compression molding of an item, the male mold part (1) comprising a plug (15) and an ejector (3, 9) that is associated with the plug in order to remove the molded item when the mold parts are in the spaced position, characterized in that it comprises a bushing (36) that is arranged externally and coaxially to the plug (15), a plurality of sectors (48) for forming raised portions (F) and undercuts (G) on the outer surface of the item, the sectors (48) being coupled axially to the bushing (36) and being able to expand with respect to the plug (15), means for actuating the sectors (48) between a position that produces mating with the plug (15) in order to allow the compression molding of the item and the molding of the raised portions and undercuts, and a spaced position in order to allow to removed the molded item from the plug (15).
L'invention concerne un appareil de fabrication d'articles en plastique pourvus de dégagements externes. Cet appareil comprend au moins une unité de moulage par compression (S) composée d'une partie moulée supérieure mâle (1) dotée d'un bouchon (15) et d'une partie moulée femelle inférieure (2) alignée sur un axe vertical à la partie moulée mâle (1), un dispositif de manoeuvre des parties moulées (1, 2) d'une position d'espacement à laquelle une dose de plastique suffisant à la formation d'un article est déposée dans la partie moulée femelle (2), à une position d'appariement servant à la production du moulage par compression d'un article. La partie moulée mâle (1) comprend un bouchon (15) et un éjecteur (3, 9) associé audit bouchon afin d'enlever l'article moulé, lorsque les parties moulées sont en position d'espacement. Ledit appareil est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une bague (36) disposée à l'extérieur du bouchon (15) et coaxialement à celui-ci, une pluralité de secteurs (48) de formation de portions surélevées (F) et de dégagements (G) sur la surface externe de l'article, les secteurs (48) étant couplés axialement à la bague (36) et pouvant s'étendre par rapport au bouchon (15). Cet appareil comporte également un dispositif d'entraînement des secteurs (48) d'une position qui engendre un ajustement avec le bouchon (15) de manière à permettre le moulage par compression de l'article et le moulage des portions surélevées et des dégagements, à une position d'espacement de manière à permettre le retrait de l'article moulé du bouchon (15).
