The tool is for carrying and handling construction boards. The tool has an elongated member having a lower end to which a board support element is rotatably attached to rotate about a rotation axis projecting perpendicularly from the front face of the elongated member. The board support element has a flat support surface projecting perpendicularly with respect to the front face of theelongated member, to receive an edge of a construction board. A spring mechanism is provided for rotatably biasing the board support element about the rotation axis towards a central angular position where the support surface is perpendicular to a main axis of the elongated member. A handle is attached to the elongated member at an upper location thereof with respect to the board support element. The handle has a handgrip portion extending offset from the rear face of the elongated member.
La présente invention vise un outil servant à transporter et à manutentionner des panneaux de construction. L'outil en question comporte un élément allongé à l'extrémité inférieure de laquelle est fixé un élément mobile servant à supporter un panneau et à le faire tourner autour d'un axe perpendiculaire à la face avant de l'élément allongé. Cet élément mobile comporte une partie en saillie, perpendiculaire à la face avant de l'élément allongé, servant à recevoir le panneau, qui y est déposé sur un de ses chants. Un mécanisme à ressort permet de faire tourner l'élément mobile autour d'un axe jusqu'à une position perpendiculaire à l'axe principal de l'élément allongé. Ce dernier comporte, à sa partie supérieure, une poignée avec prise faisant saillie sur sa face arrière.
