ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A carrying device for skis consisting of a car- rying strap and two attachment elements is constructed in such a way that it causes no inconvenience to the skier while skiing, for example when stored in a pocket of the ski suit. The carrying strap may be wound onto a coiling device, integrated to form a unit with an attachment ele- ment. The carrying strap is of such a length that the skis can be suspended from one shoulder, or slung diagonally across the body of the carrier.
