A carton (10) for food products comprises a box-like body (12) adapted to contain the food products, at least two lid members (14) with a top wall (16), a first (18), a second (20) and a third (22) side wall, the lid members (14) being joined above the body (12) along a dividing line (24), which can be broken in order to separate and open the lid members (14), and the lid members (14) further being foldable about an essentially horizontal fold line (26) so as to be positioned adjacent to the body (12) and so as to define an interior space (28) which is separated from the interior space (30) of the body (12). A carton blank (40) comprises a bottom wall section (42), two first side wall sections (18), two second side wall sections (20), two third side wall sections (22) respectively formed between one first (18) and one second side wall section (20) and foldable with respect thereto, the third side wall sections (22) further being foldable with regard to the bottom wall section (42), two top wall sections (44), foldable with respect to the third side wall sections (22) and comprising two tabs (46) so as to be joined to the first (18) and second side wall sections (20), and one of the two top wall sections (44) comprises a dividing line (24).
