ABSTRACT A reusable, recyclable plastics material carton is provided with a pressure sensitive mechanical fastening system at least for the bottom closure flaps. Such a system may be "crown" type snap fasteners. Top flaps are preferably closed by means of releasably interengaging tabs and slots. Conveniently, the tabs form part of a T- extension on a first opposing pair of top panels, while slots are suitably located for engagement with the Ts in a second opposing pair of top panels. The provision of a pressure sensitive mechanical fastening may allow assembly of the carton on automated production lines normally used for the assembly of conventional cartons. Both the closure and the carton body may be made of recyclable plastics material.
