The invention relates to an insert (1) used to receive blood bags (35), said insert being used in a centrifuge in order to separate blood constituents. The insert (1) has a partition (3) dividing a radially inner blood bag region (5) from a radially outer product region, a receiving element (29) being provided in the product region (7) for receiving a filter (31). Said insert also comprises a product transport path (36) which leads from the blood bag region (5) via the receiving element (29) for the filter (31) to the product region (7). The product transport path (36) leads from the blood bag region (5), radially from the outside, and from below into the receiving element (29) for the filter (31).
