ABSTRACT A cartridge filter cleaning apparatus (S) serving also as a filtration apparatus which is incorporated in an installed dry cleaning machine (M) and capable of cleaning cartridge filters in cartridge filter type filtration apparatus (3) without replacing the filters, i.e., with the filters left in these apparatus (3). The cartridge filter cleaning apparatus (S) serving-also as filtration apparatus according to this invention is connected to the installed dry cleaning machine (M), and this apparatus is rendered useable both as filtration apparatus (3), which function as cleaning mechanisms, by selectively operating switch means, such as valves (a-h), and a cleaning mechanism by sending hot air from drying mechanisms (4, 5, 6, 7, 9) thereinto through a core pipe (34). 12
