Provided is a cartridge system comprising: (a) a reagent component for storing one or more reagents; and (b) a processing component for processing the one or more reagents in an assay; wherein the reagent component and the processing component are configured to be coupled together to form a cartridge, and wherein the reagent component and/or the processing component comprise at least one compartment configured to accept waste from the assay, the reagent component not taking part in processing the reagents in the assay, except to accept waste from the processing component. Further provided is a cartridge system comprising: (a) a reagent component for storing one or more reagents; (b) a processing component for processing one or more reagents in an assay; and (c) a sensing component comprising at least one sensing element for detecting an analyte; wherein the reagent component, the processing component and the sensing component are separate components configured to be coupled together to form a cartridge. Still further provided is a cartridge system comprising: (a) a reagent component for storing one or more reagents; (b) a processing component for processing one or more reagents in an assay; and (c) a sample preparation component for preparing a sample for the assay; wherein the reagent component and the processing component are configured to be coupled together to form a cartridge.
L'invention concerne un système de cartouche comprenant : (a) un composant réactif permettant de stocker un ou plusieurs réactifs ; et (b) un composant de traitement pour le traitement du ou des réactifs dans un titrage ; caractérisé en ce que le composant réactif et le composant de traitement sont configurés pour s'accoupler et constituer une cartouche, et caractérisé en ce que le composant réactif et/ou le composant de traitement comprennent au moins un compartiment configuré pour accepter les déchets du titrage, le composant réactif ne participant pas au traitement des réactifs dans le titrage, sauf pour accepter les déchets du composant de traitement. L'invention concerne de plus un système de cartouche comprenant : (a) un composant réactif permettant de stocker un ou plusieurs réactifs ; (b) un composant de traitement pour le traitement du ou des réactifs dans un titrage ; et (c) un composant de détection comprenant au moins un élément de détection permettant de détecter un analyte ; caractérisé en ce que le composant réactif, le composant de traitement et le composant de détection sont des composants séparés configurés pour s'accoupler et constituer une cartouche. L'invention concerne encore un système de cartouche comprenant : (a) un composant réactif permettant de stocker un ou plusieurs réactifs ; (b) un composant de traitement pour le traitement du ou des réactifs dans un titrage ; et (c) un composant de préparation d'échantillon pour élaborer un échantillon pour le titrage ; caractérisé en ce que le composant réactif et le composant de traitement sont configurés pour s'accoupler et constituer une cartouche.
