ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel cartridge type fuse assembly is presented wherein a tube is provided with at least a recess at each end of the outer surface thereof in which an end of a fusible element is received and the end of the fusible element is soldered with a metallic cap attached over the end of the tube.
