The present invention generally provides a case (10) for a printed circuit board (12) which forms a single in-line P in configuration from an edge connected circuit board. The case includes a frame (20) enclosing the edges of the circuit board and a base (22) at a mounting plane side of the frame. Connector pins (26) affixed to the edge connectors of a printed circuit board are secured to the printed circuit board and extend from the base. A tab extending generally parallel to the frame from an edge of the base provides a smooth vacuum pick up engagement surface (24) for handling and placement of the present case.
La présente invention concerne un boîtier (10) pour carte à circuit imprimé (12), et qui prolonge et se substitue à l'enfichage par le bord de la carte à circuit imprimé. Le boîtier comporte, d'une part un châssis (20) renfermant les bords de la carte à circuit imprimé, et d'autre part une embase (22) du côté plan de montage du châssis. De l'embase partent des broches de connexion (26) fixées sur des connecteurs de bord d'une carte à circuit imprimé et fixées à cette dernière. Une languette prenant naissance sur un bord de l'embase, sensiblement parallèlement au châssis, constitue une surface de contact (24) lisse pour saisie par ventouse permettant de manipuler et mettre en place le boîtier.
