A case for retaining a cigar or other article. The case contains a generally tubular primary body having a generally hollow interior, an open upper end in connection with the hollow interior, and a closed lower end. The lower end of the cap is releasably securable to the open upper end of the primary body to form an air tight seal therewith. The enclosed upper end of the cap is releasably securable to the open upper end of the primary body when the cap is inverted to thereby enable the case to hold and support the end of a cigar or other article.
