ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A case comprises at least one rigid, obstruction- free frame base member with a channel-shaped profile and lat- erally fitted, interchangeable lateral members. The latter can be in the form of plates, case sheels or a lateral cover provided with a roller shutter. The case can be opened between the frame base member and one of the lateral members. The volume within the profile permits the reception of various add- itional members, such as locking members, handles, name plates, marking elements, accessories, roller elements and straps. The frame base member can be in the form of a rectangle, square, polygon or circle.
