ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A casement frame for a window structure having horizontal and vertical frame pieces which form the frame and define a guide passage for drive rods associated with the window operation. A flexible band connects adjacent drive rods in at least one corner area of the frame and a guide piece is located in the corner area consisting of a notched segment, received against the frame pieces in the corner area, and having on its outer side a guide channel. A corner piece having a guide surface on its inner side cooperates with the guide channel to define a guide passage for the flexible band. The corner piece is received between side cover legs formed on the frame pieces.
